THE VOICE

“I am scared, is anyone there? I’m here in hell, is anyone there? I scream and yell but no one opens the door. Is anyone there? Please listen to our moans and listen to our pain. Is anyone there? People are dying, my friend is dying. I call out again and again but why don’t you answer. Is anyone there?”

The above statement is not a common statement re-posted on Facebook nor re-tweeted in Twitter, but a fragment of the poem written by a former north Korean defector, Ji Hyeon A.

I take this opportunity to ask you for a moment or more to pray for North Korea especially to North Koreans who are imprisoned in their own terrifying country facing human rights’ violations such as forced abortion, forced hard labor, rape, starvation, summary executions and many others–these are conditions that amount to crimes against humanity.

If you’d say, “We have enough crisis on our own countries..so why do we care about theirs?”, don’t you think you’d be happy to hear these same statements from them if we’d swap situations…if we become north Koreans and them become like us….enjoying democracy?

My heart is pained when instead of us, of course including myself, could have think of caring, helping, praying or even pausing to silently or to the least of secretly sympathizing to the destitutes or humanly violated creatures, have gone along with our usual days pitying ourselves on how people care about how we looked like in the outside, on about how quick and frequent we could post on social medias our recent life’s status and even our private lives as if the world care about knowing ’em. When in fact, we can save those wasted time to learn more about other creatures out there that the medias didn’t covered on their news. That there are Christians killed every day in an underground church and prison camps in China, Russia, Pakistan, India, Iraq…while we are not even true to our faith here in our country even though we are enjoying the freedom of worship or religion. That there are hungry and starving out there and we are enjoying here our comfort zones, not even sharing our blessings to the nearest beggar that pull the end of our trousers just to get our attentions. That instead of thanking the cook for a well-presented food on the platter, we never realized what type of food the prisoners are munching, if those are even food for humans or for dogs.

There’s so much to say…but expressing my concern wouldn’t even help solve these problems, but you can make a difference. You can help. You are a warrior, not a worrier. You are whole, healed and delivered.

Last night, I was reading the book of 1 Samuel (from the Bible) about the story of David and Goliath. Although I have read it couple of times, running my eyes through the pages still have an impression of new experience, since every day we face our giants–such as worries, anxities, doubts, fears, losing hope, persecutions, poverty, sickness, unforgiveness, hurts, guilts, self-pity, vanity, setbacks, and many others.

Do you know that WORDS have the POWER over a giant?

READ: 1 Samuel 17:45-47 King James Version (KJV)

45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.

46 This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.

47 And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give you into our hands.”

Believing on the Words, the very words that he uttered, David fought a good fight and won the battle since the battle is not his but the LORD’s.

North Korea has been a threat to us not just to the north Koreans themselves with their mad dictator Kim Jong-un, unsurprisingly unpredictable, but to the neighboring countries in the east Asia and to the rest of the world. Nevertheless, who could stand against the allies of righteous forces that prays day and night with prayers and supplications before our BIG GOD, the creator of the universe and mankind!

To God be the glory!

When You Feel Nobody Is Beside You

Just sharing this beautiful thoughts from Rick Warren…
1. It’s easy to fill a schedule than to fulfill it.

2. To grow, I must say “No”.

3. If you try to run somebody else’s race, you’ll gonna fail, you’re going to lose, you’re not going to make it to the finish line, you’ll gonna get tired and give up. Because God doesn’t give you the strength to run other people’s race, you are to run the race God meant for you to run.

4. You have to stop caring about the approval of others nor living for their approval. You got to be who God made you to be.

5. We must focus on Jesus, not on our circumstances. You must not look at your problem, you got to look at the problem-solver

6. Don’t look at yourself as a victim, you got to look at the Victor (Jesus).

7.If you look at Christ, you’ll be at rest.

READ: Jonah 2:7 “When I’d lose all hope, I once again turn my thoughts to the Lord.”

Bullying, or Witnessing to others?

Today, I accidentally read an article of a 13-year old Australian girl who committed suicide. This girl was a victim of bullying from school. From students of the same school she attended. The bullying which started from physical and psychological reached to an outrageous crime of getting the girl raped masterminded by the bullies. As a result, she suffered a lot–panic attack, separating herself from others, even mental illness.

She wrote a letter before she took her life. I am not encouraging others to do the same, it’s not a brave act to take one’s life. I also was a victim of bullies when I was in grade school. It was part of my growing up, to be as I am now, successful maybe in my career had also dark past as well as others in our growing up.

I learned to be brave after I forgot those nightmares. To move on, to forget and forgive. Life does not end with the only few chapters. Who cares if the first 5 chapters of your life story was hell, what matters is you let the writer continue your story by adding more chapters. You might not expect the next 5 chapters will be brighter, more beautiful, hopeful and full of colors. The books have lots of chapters to write on with our lives. Let’s not be contented without knowing our life-stories’ good ending.

I hope the ending with your story is not tragic.

Anyone deserves to have a good and happy ending. After all, life is worth-living.

#THE_IMPORTANCE_OF_WITNESSING_TO_OTHERS

God did not ransom us from the pit (of hell/ eternal damnation) so we could just keep the knowledge on ourselves. We can’t enjoy God’s favor, love, salvation and at the same time look at others bondage by sin, of ignorance, heading to hell. God wanted us to share this (TRUTH) to others who don’t know this.

I want to share a very wonderful thing God did with me this week.

November 9th (Thu), 2017, I dreamed of Jesus appearing to me and reading to me Ezekiel 3 (the whole chapter), then He directed me to read Matthew, Mark, Luke and John…Jesus as lovely as He was in my dream, was a really gentle and gracious teacher to me. Then I woke up.

Unfortunately, I neglected that dream for some reasons like I was busy at work, etc. until on November 10th-11th, I was able to bump onto a YouTube channel with a video on Spiritual Warfare. I had taken notes especially on the 200 and more scriptural-verses (both Offensive and Defensive) that you can use for Spiritual Warfare.

Since then, I started to memorize the first 5 verses listed: Luke 20:42; Psalms 68:1; Luke 10:19; 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 and Ephesians 6:11-18.

Then I remember about my dream on the 9th of November. Today, I read Ezekiel 3. The Holy spirit prompted me that the dream which Jesus appeared to teach me about those scriptures, was telling me to have a new way of reading / studying the bible, and that is to also memorize Scriptures.

Please do take time to READ EZEKIEL 3 (whole chapter). This is a critical verse telling us our assignment, our mandate or responsibility to witness to others. That we must warn those who are sinning, if not, their blood will be upon our heads. You might not know the person you are sharing with right now of the love of Jesus, might have had a problem that he thought suicide is the last resort.

TRUE WORSHIP

“Every time you do the will of the Father, you are worshiping Him.”

So, worship is not just a physical outward singing of songs or adoration to someone, worship is when you are pleasing someone by doing what he/she wants you to do.

Satan must have said, “These people are professing from their lips that they worship God, but actually they are worshiping me by what they do every time they are believing and following my steps.

On Las Vegas shooting…

Today I was so shocked when I saw on TV news of gun-shooting incident in Las Vegas, Nevada by a gun-man. Many people died and wounded.

As I remembered, last Sunday, on Sept 24th, 2017 as I waited on God, I saw a clear vision of bold letters formed NEVADA and a gun from the hand of a man.

Then, there was a prompting in my spirit to share this vision to some spirit-filled Christians to intercede on what this vision is all about and to pray.

What I did is I cancelled the spirit of death in Nevada. But still my heart is grieving for what happened (when the vision) came true.

My condolences to the family of the victims of shooting. God is sending messages to each one of us. Let us not be callous and neglectful of His warnings, words or instructions to us. And, let us not harden our hearts. Life is precious. Jesus loves us.

To God be the glory!
