Rhema Word for today: Psalm 139

God’s Perfect Knowledge of Man

1 O LORD, You have searched me and known me.
2 You know my sitting down and my rising up;
You understand my thought afar off.
3 You comprehend my path and my lying down,
And are acquainted with all my ways.
4 For there is not a word on my tongue,
But behold, O LORD, You know it altogether.
5 You have hedged me behind and before,
And laid Your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
It is high, I cannot attain it.
7 Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence?
8 If I ascend into heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.
9 If I take the wings of the morning,
And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
10 Even there Your hand shall lead me,
And Your right hand shall hold me.
11 If I say, “Surely the darkness shall fall[a] on me,”
Even the night shall be light about me;
12 Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You,
But the night shines as the day;
The darkness and the light are both alike to You.
13 For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;[b]
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them.
17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!
How great is the sum of them!
18 If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand;
When I awake, I am still with You.
19 Oh, that You would slay the wicked, O God!
Depart from me, therefore, you bloodthirsty men.
20 For they speak against You wickedly;
Your enemies take Your name in vain.[c]
21 Do I not hate them, O LORD, who hate You?
And do I not loathe those who rise up against You?
22 I hate them with perfect hatred;
I count them my enemies.
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart;
Try me, and know my anxieties;
24 And see if there is any wicked way in me,
And lead me in the way everlasting.

All you need is a broken heart

—this is when David received this remarkable revelation of the sacrifice God really wants: All you need is a broken heart!

Ultimately, it’s not the sight of an animal sacrifice that moves God to grant forgiveness and to receive David back into His embrace. It is David’s broken heart—the spirit that had grown tender enough to be pained by sin.

There’s no need to be embarrassed if you can’t bring God a jolly heart every time you feel the need to praise Him. There’s no shame in not being able to afford an expensive gift as though you could “buy God off” and purchase forgiveness.

Just bring Him your heart, broken though it may be. That’s what He has wanted all along.

#Praise_in_Prayer

“I give You my heart as Lord of my life, O God. Even when I am sorrowful…even when I am less than I want to be…I praise You as a God who accepts the open and honest heart over any material sacrifice I could bring. In the name of Christ my Savior, Amen.”

Dear God,

You are thoughtful, you are wise.
You engraved us into your palms.
Whenever I’m down or weary, you are my melody.
You are a song, hymns, psalms that echoes my ear.
You are my sunshine… that gives us reason to breath and celebrate.

Waves may toss us back and forth,
But your amazing hand keep us walk on the water
And whisper, “Be still and know that I am God.”

I’m glad you are my God.
Besides you, there is no other.
We were once blind, but now we see
and awe at your beauty.

How I long to be with you… day and night.
Your majesty captivates me.
In the beauty of your holiness, we take delight.
To worship you seemed endless, yes! It’s eternal.
Here on earth, to know you and known by you is my crown.

Love,
Jenny

tornado vs faith

I dreamt of:
A. …myself attending a wedding. All the ladies who are visitors wore white gowns and the men wore tuxedos. I was tasked to call those who have roles in the wedding who were slothful sitting on the bench outside the church feeling shy. I encouraged them to be zealous and be prepared like an army. So, they fall in line to get ready for the wedding procession.

B … a tornado from dawn to morning today. In my dream, a tornado can be seen in the sky through our window. In amazement, I took my phone to capture the moment. My mom scolded me since it’s too dangerous to stay.
Then, our house started to move. Next thing, we went down through the stairs fearing the roof on the second floor might be removed due to the strong wind. However, seconds after, the things in the second floor started to throw themselves and we thought the wooden ceiling would gave up and fall over us below.
The neighborhood was already devastated, we’re the only house left. But we keep holding each other. Soon our house is being shaken as if the foundation is uprooted and the house moved feet away from its original site.
I, with other young people started to pray (apostolic-prophetic prayer). We commanded the wind to stay away and not harm us and it obeyed us. But later as it got stronger, we surrendered our lives to God, praying that if it’s time for us to die, we commit our spirit to the Lord. Nevertheless, we became spiritually stronger and prompted by the Holy Spirit to move away from the house since the monster wind is fast approaching us. We run to the open space. But my mom and other family member were still inside the house. I screamed on top of my voice, calling my mom to get out from the house. No answer. So, I returned to our half-ruined house. At the door, I saw my family with my mom holding a sack of clothes. She tried to secure clothes or other things before we fled for our lives. I felt disappointed to her saying, “Mom, our lives are more important than those things you packed up. Besides, how could you run with those heavy loads?”
Then I woke up.

Wisdom:

A.
Matthew 25:1-13Amplified Bible (AMP)

Parable of Ten Virgins
25 “Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins, who took their lamps and went to [a]meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish [thoughtless, silly, and careless], and five were wise [far-sighted, practical, and sensible]. 3 For when the foolish took their lamps, they did not take any [extra] oil with them, 4 but the wise took flasks of oil along with their lamps. 5 Now while the bridegroom was delayed, they all began to nod off, and they fell asleep. 6 But at midnight there was a shout, ‘Look! The bridegroom [is coming]! Go out to meet him.’ 7 Then all those virgins got up and put their own lamps in order [trimmed the wicks and added oil and lit them]. 8 But the foolish virgins said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, because our lamps are going out.’ 9 But the wise replied, ‘No, otherwise there will not be enough for us and for you, too; go instead to the dealers and buy oil for yourselves.’ 10 But while they were going away to buy oil, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut and locked. 11 Later the others also came, and said, ‘Lord, Lord, open [the door] for us.’ 12 But He replied, ‘I assure you and most solemnly say to you, I do not know you [we have no relationship].’ 13 Therefore, be on the alert [be prepared and ready], for you do not know the day nor the hour [when the Son of Man will come].

B.
Matthew 24:15-18 Amplified Bible (AMP)

Perilous Times
15 “So when you see the [a]ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION [the appalling sacrilege that astonishes and makes desolate], spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the Holy Place (let the [b]reader understand), 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains [for refuge]. 17 “Whoever is on the housetop must not go down to get the things that are in his house [because there will not be enough time]. 18 “Whoever is in the field must not turn back to get his clothes.

REACT: As I pondered upon my dream, I knew God is speaking to me through the dream. I knew I became so worried about some things (earthly things) these days like house, etc.

Psalms 127:1 says, “Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; Unless the LORD guards the city, the watchman keeps awake in vain.”

In the end, there is one more certain and important, not our properties but our lives. I realized, yes, why do we worry so much about our food, clothes, shelter or other things? We worked so hard acquiring things which don’t have eternal value. When catastrophe strikes, we can’t carry all of them because we’ll be more concern for our refuge, our lives. And still, when havoc struck us, if we are the children of God, we’ll be left unharmed. He is our mighty defender. Our ever-strong arm.
…and Jesus is coming for a perfect bride who make herself ready!

Lazy Christians

Today is my 4th anniversary in WordPress.com as blogger. I wonder what to write since it’s been ages since the last time I write an article, like a good piece. My class schedule have quite few vacancies. I asked God, “What do you want me to do today Lord? Or What do you want me to learn from You? I want to hear Your instruction.” After couples of browsing on the internet I found this video.

…then boom! O-k, so this is the thing You want to remind me today Lord. I knew it. The short film’s entitled “Lazy Christians.” Yes, I am a Christian, and I am sometimes lazy…or to honestly confess, oftentimes these days within this month at work, towards my classes, waking up, or jumping off to bed to sleep late. Usually I am hardworking, but not workaholic. But, these days is so hard for me, it’s hard to pull myself. It’s like I was building others spirit up, but I forgot my own.
As a matter of fact, I arrived late in the office today because I arrived very late to my dental appointment. And you’re right, this was due to my waking habit. The man in the video is an exaggerated version of me. As a defense mechanism, I blamed it on the circumstance the night before, or I keep telling myself, I have worked a lot, did a lot that deserves a break. Many people thought I am righteous, but deep inside I knew I was not good enough. I have weaknesses as much as you do have; I fall short of the glory of God. And with this, I am really humbled.
I finished reading the book of Matthew today, an hour ago. I remembered the parable of the ten virgins. Five wise and five foolish. What made the foolish more foolish is that they are sluggard/ idle/lazy. In the story, the bridegroom left them behind and did not let them in. I don’t want that to happen to me, do you? When I arrived in the dental clinic at 12:00 noon today, I expected to be served right, but I was wrong. They told me, you’re late, we need to have our lunch break. It felt bad since I need to wait for 1 hour and informed our manager that I’ll be late at work. I am not ashamed to admit this. And, I repented. I thought I was doing the right thing, but after I reaped the consequence, I learned my lesson.
At dawn today, I dreamed of me on the crossroads. Of wanting to save time and energy, I ride on the cab which I thought I could do a short-cut, but on my dismay, it was the other way around. Nevertheless, it was a long cut, not a short-cut, at all. The road is longer than the other and I was delayed.

I just realized that dream and the incident that happened to me in the afternoon is a kind of warning and reminder from God, though I didn’t know that dream is intended to be realized today. How many of us are thinking we’re doing wise decisions, but actually were heading to our downfall due to our reckless, selfish, greedy, sluggish and foolish ways?

Proverbs 6:6-11 —The Folly of Indolence

6 Go to the ant, you sluggard!
Consider her ways and be wise,
7 Which, having no captain,
Overseer or ruler,
8 Provides her supplies in the summer,
And gathers her food in the harvest.
9 How long will you slumber, O sluggard?
When will you rise from your sleep?
10 A little sleep, a little slumber,
A little folding of the hands to sleep—
11 So shall your poverty come on you like a prowler,
And your need like an armed man.

To end up, I’m giving back to God all the glory and honor, praises and adoration for allowing me to continue working with Him here in this platform of WordPress.com as His mouthpiece in whatever He intends for the expansion of His kingdom, since my humble beginning here four years ago is so freshly reminisce. Thank you Lord.

“Choose the candle in the light of LOVE…”

“Choose the candle in the light of LOVE…
Choose the candle in the light of LOVE…
Choose the candle in the light of LOVE.”

This is the lyrics of the chorus of the new song taught to me by a woman in my dream at dawn today.

The dream started from dawn till morning. The dream went like this…Ladies and some women are tasked to sing a new song, I’m the second performer. The coach said, “Yours has the simplest and shortest lyrics among five of you but yours also have the greatest impact to the world so sing it well.” Then I started singing until I woke up.

Praise God!

As I woke up, I started to pray in the Spirit and automatically I felt the manifested presence of Jesus in my room, then I started weeping and groaning as He led me to pray for the lost souls whose not yet in the sheep pen. As I continually sing in the Spirit, I heard His audible voice weeping for the lost souls. I can’t contain His love as I felt it all over my room, I was overwhelmed by it that made me continually weep and sing songs of worship to Him at the same time.

The Love of Jesus is sweet and marvelous.
His Love is so wonderful.How He loves you and me.
How He loves the lost, the sinner, the sick and the captives…
That’s why He came for the sick and the sinners, not for the healthy nor the righteous.

To God be the glory!
