tornado vs faith

I dreamt of:
A. …myself attending a wedding. All the ladies who are visitors wore white gowns and the men wore tuxedos. I was tasked to call those who have roles in the wedding who were slothful sitting on the bench outside the church feeling shy. I encouraged them to be zealous and be prepared like an army. So, they fall in line to get ready for the wedding procession.

B … a tornado from dawn to morning today. In my dream, a tornado can be seen in the sky through our window. In amazement, I took my phone to capture the moment. My mom scolded me since it’s too dangerous to stay.
Then, our house started to move. Next thing, we went down through the stairs fearing the roof on the second floor might be removed due to the strong wind. However, seconds after, the things in the second floor started to throw themselves and we thought the wooden ceiling would gave up and fall over us below.
The neighborhood was already devastated, we’re the only house left. But we keep holding each other. Soon our house is being shaken as if the foundation is uprooted and the house moved feet away from its original site.
I, with other young people started to pray (apostolic-prophetic prayer). We commanded the wind to stay away and not harm us and it obeyed us. But later as it got stronger, we surrendered our lives to God, praying that if it’s time for us to die, we commit our spirit to the Lord. Nevertheless, we became spiritually stronger and prompted by the Holy Spirit to move away from the house since the monster wind is fast approaching us. We run to the open space. But my mom and other family member were still inside the house. I screamed on top of my voice, calling my mom to get out from the house. No answer. So, I returned to our half-ruined house. At the door, I saw my family with my mom holding a sack of clothes. She tried to secure clothes or other things before we fled for our lives. I felt disappointed to her saying, “Mom, our lives are more important than those things you packed up. Besides, how could you run with those heavy loads?”
Then I woke up.

Wisdom:

A.
Matthew 25:1-13Amplified Bible (AMP)

Parable of Ten Virgins
25 “Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins, who took their lamps and went to [a]meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish [thoughtless, silly, and careless], and five were wise [far-sighted, practical, and sensible]. 3 For when the foolish took their lamps, they did not take any [extra] oil with them, 4 but the wise took flasks of oil along with their lamps. 5 Now while the bridegroom was delayed, they all began to nod off, and they fell asleep. 6 But at midnight there was a shout, ‘Look! The bridegroom [is coming]! Go out to meet him.’ 7 Then all those virgins got up and put their own lamps in order [trimmed the wicks and added oil and lit them]. 8 But the foolish virgins said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, because our lamps are going out.’ 9 But the wise replied, ‘No, otherwise there will not be enough for us and for you, too; go instead to the dealers and buy oil for yourselves.’ 10 But while they were going away to buy oil, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut and locked. 11 Later the others also came, and said, ‘Lord, Lord, open [the door] for us.’ 12 But He replied, ‘I assure you and most solemnly say to you, I do not know you [we have no relationship].’ 13 Therefore, be on the alert [be prepared and ready], for you do not know the day nor the hour [when the Son of Man will come].

B.
Matthew 24:15-18 Amplified Bible (AMP)

Perilous Times
15 “So when you see the [a]ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION [the appalling sacrilege that astonishes and makes desolate], spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the Holy Place (let the [b]reader understand), 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains [for refuge]. 17 “Whoever is on the housetop must not go down to get the things that are in his house [because there will not be enough time]. 18 “Whoever is in the field must not turn back to get his clothes.

REACT: As I pondered upon my dream, I knew God is speaking to me through the dream. I knew I became so worried about some things (earthly things) these days like house, etc.

Psalms 127:1 says, “Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; Unless the LORD guards the city, the watchman keeps awake in vain.”

In the end, there is one more certain and important, not our properties but our lives. I realized, yes, why do we worry so much about our food, clothes, shelter or other things? We worked so hard acquiring things which don’t have eternal value. When catastrophe strikes, we can’t carry all of them because we’ll be more concern for our refuge, our lives. And still, when havoc struck us, if we are the children of God, we’ll be left unharmed. He is our mighty defender. Our ever-strong arm.
…and Jesus is coming for a perfect bride who make herself ready!

To God be the glory!

The blessing of family

Days ago, one of my 5 month old kitten died. She’s the closest to me, to the point that she sleeps with me during the night and woke we up at dawn so she’ll poop or pee outside the house.

So eventually, when she got sick, 4 days of not eating anything.. I talked to God. I told Him, “Here we go again Lord. The last time you take all my kittens I knew it because they became my idol. They occupy more of my waking time. But this time, are you dealing again with me? Why is that every time I overly loved my pets, they’ll die?” Then I cried and prayed for my cat, I lay hands to her and speak life to her. But I knew it. She’ll die. God put it in my heart. I knew it, so I was able to accept the fact. God is a jealous God, you know. The problem with me was I’m just too occupied with my pet.

Then 2 days ago, I saw my mom by the gate waiting for me. And I knew it. So I asked her, “Is she already dead?” She’s a little reluctant to answer me, because the last time she saw me cried so much is when my pet cat so dear to me died, that was last year, which I also featured here. I knew that my cat died not because it’s unusual for my mom to be awake by the time I arrived home from work, nor because it’s also unusual for her to stay outside late at night waiting for me. I knew my cat died because the Lord put it in my heart, “She’ll die.”
So what more could I do, but to accept the fact. So I bury her, my mom had just cried. She was surprised by my reaction cause I show no single pain in me. There was even joy inside me. I was released even before the day she died, because Jesus conditioned my heart the time I cried to her asking, “not again Lord..” but He’d answer back, “She would die.” So that news was no surprise to me anymore. He had spoken.

Why people grieve….
It’s not wrong to grieve. In fact, it’s biblical to grieve for your dead loved one, and to cry is a medicine to the soul. The thirst washes the pain away.

However, I learned the fact that the reason why people grieve is because they can not accept the reality of the person’s or any creature’s death or lost yet.
…hence, it’s easier on my part because I accepted the fact, God told me beforehand. Can I reason to Him?

Everything is a matter of decision…
You decide to act on something, telling yourself to do this and that. Like last week, one of the speaker in the bible class I attended to shared on how quick she forgave her dad for murdering her mom. It’s because she decided to forgave him, to act on it by faith. If she didn’t put her faith on God that she’d forgive her dad, she couldn’t look at him directly to the eyes nor could have lived with him peacefully in the same roof.

When I asked my cousin how come he changed. He no longer smoke nor drink. He said, “I just decided. It’s a choice.” Folks, everything is a matter of faith. You put your faith to Jesus, that He’d take care of the things you decided on doing, that He’d help you to consistently do it by renewing your mind, because on the first place He’s the first one to want you to do it.

Since this week’s theme is about family and marriage…allow me to share this.
Last night, my mom confessed to me, “Do you know why you did not grieve for your dead cat? It’s because the moment she died, I prayed to God that He’ll take care of your emotions, that He’ll let you accept it easily and not to grieve over it.” Honestly, I was touched by that motherly confession.
Many times my mom saved me from heartbreak by praying to God to take care of me. That’s moms for! That’s our parents. How many of you did not know that many times our parents are praying for us even it seems they didn’t? That’s how we’re blessed to have parents, so let’s continue honoring them.

To God be the glory!

Testimony: the power of bible declaration–Psalms 91

Last week while my mother was travelling back home from an island to attend a family reunion, it was raining that day, the road was slippery, on her way while riding a motorbike, had met an accident. The driver including the 3 other passengers were bruised, wounded and badly hurt. But on my mom’s amazement, she hadn’t got even an inch of  pain though she also fell on the ground. That’d probably be the hand of God, His protection on my mom.

The power of praying bible verse declaration…

As a personal testimony, I’d declared the whole chapter of Psalms 91 (A prayer of Protection) the whole week including before my mom left home to travel. These includes my family, my property, and anyone I could think of whom to pray for protection…in this prayer declaration.

While my mom’s on her way to that small island, I received in my spirit a warning….I knew that was the Holy Spirit speaking to me beforehand to pray in the Spirit for my mom.

Lesson Learned: It’s very important in these last days to listen to what the Lord Jesus or the Holy Spirit’s promptings, so we can  move the angels to work on our behalf. Our only task is to pray.

To God be the glory!

I hope you declare this everyday, too.

Psalm 91 New King James Version

Safety of Abiding in the Presence of God

91 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”

Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler[a]
And from the perilous pestilence.
He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.

Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
10 No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
11 For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
12 In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.

14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation.”

“The special floating slipper, the floating board and a stairway underwater”

high-angle-view-of-slippers-floating-on-water-ajjt87

Dream today: 11/4/2016 dawn-morning

I walked on the water like Jesus with a special slipper. Somebody’s attempting to remove my special slipper to make me sink, but another creature I didn’t see provided me a flat floating board under my feet so I was able to walk on the water again without sinking.

Another scene: We and other Christian believers are trying to enter a village surrounded by a big body of water (water is unclean and unclear) through a bridge. Somebody’s pulling the bridge away from its place, but we fought hard to stay on it. We helped each other in order to reach the other end of it by making fragments of wood to form a new bridge.

Then appeared a stairway from the surface in a sloping direction…the more you walk on it, the more you’ll get wet.

Another scene: My mom was given a new huge and concrete house. It has two strong pillars and roofs, but she removed the two pillars and remove some roofs to make the house smaller to save space in the lot. However, I worry looking at the foundation, removing the pillars make it prone to damage if strong earthquake or typhoon hit the house. What does this mean?

Wisdom:
slipper – faith
bridge being pulled – persecution
stairs beneath the water – to deep in the Spirit
pillars – foundation (Bible or Word of God)
roof – protection

Our thinking controls our actions

Our thoughts become our habits

Our habits become our character

Our character becomes our destiny

Think about what you are thinking about.

Put some standard, be transformed by the renewing of our mind

Is Jesus the Lord of our manners and habits?

5 reasons why LOVE is greater than Faith?

The scripture said, “You’ll receive your healing by faith…” but do you know that
5 reasons why LOVE is greater than Faith?

Galatians 5
Faith works through love.
Faith is motivated by love.
Faith is energize by love.
Faith is set into motion by love.
Love is the key that ignites faith.

Personal testimony…

More than a year ago I had a supernatural visitation from apostle Paul in my room when I was combating with a high fever due to hepatitis A infection. (This was during the 15 days high fever and vomiting I experienced without knowing that I already had the infection). All night, I vomited, suffered headache, nausea, abdominal pain and it was just after a week as we’re heading to church in a Sunday that my mom noticed my jaundice.)

The night of supernatural visitation…
By the time my body reached the maximum temperature, I thought I’d die so I prayed to God. Suddenly, I could feel the presence of the Lord all over my room. And I knew in my spirit that there is another spiritual being present in that room. I could literally hear his voice, it was apostle Paul reading to me the whole chapter of Galatians 5. What’s so unbelievable was that he also read it from bottom to top and explained the whole chapter. It’s like I got a teacher ministering to me in the middle of my suffering.

What I could clearly remembered about his explanation to me that night is about LOVE. Galatians 5 is a long passage but I only remembered what he explained about LOVE!

After that, I sweat excessively…like buckets of sweat ran off me and I was relieved and fell asleep. I knew in my spirit that I’d never experience that kind of extreme fever ever again.

In the morning before the supernatural visitation…
…due to my inability to read through my eyes since I was so sick and weak and I needed God’s intervention in my situation, I was left with the only option of listening to an  audio Bible thru my mp3. It was in Galatians 5 that pulled me all over again…I could not get it right due to my high fever; my brain could not understood what my ears heard.

I smiled as I woke up the next day remembering the unusual event that night when in the morning I was listening to an audio-bible particularly in Galatians 5  and in the evening I had a personal visitation from apostle Paul, the very person who wrote Galatians 5 inspired by the Holy Spirit so that he could explained that scripture to me himself, because I could not understood it due to my sickness that time and as a result I got healed!

Have you ever experienced not understanding the Word you’re reading and you ask the Holy Spirit to teach you what it means?

Well, you have learned that the Holy Spirit is our present help. Romans 8:26-27 says, “This Holy Spirit who is dwelling in us is continually helping us in all the weaknesses we experience in this life, especially with our weakness in prayer. He intercedes for us, and his intercession is always effectual. Therefore, just as the hope of the coming glory sustains us to wait with patience, so also the Holy Spirit helps us to endure our sufferings.”

In addition, do you know that  in heaven there are ministering angels sent to God’s children here on earth to help us in times of our needs, and saints in heaven pray for us, too! I then learned from a true man of God from India since he also had the similar experienced I had when apostle John explained to him some scriptures in the bible he wrote like the book of Revelation and the book of John!

As Christians we sometimes doubt of the new things we experienced since we thought, “Oh this was not taught to us by our pastors or from the church…” but you see these are not extra-biblical…

Also, the scripture says in Daniel  12:4 “In the last days, knowledge shall increase…”

KJV Daniel 12:4  But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Prayer: “Lord, fill me everyday with your love, ignite my heart with your compassion.”
