THE VOICE

“I am scared, is anyone there? I’m here in hell, is anyone there? I scream and yell but no one opens the door. Is anyone there? Please listen to our moans and listen to our pain. Is anyone there? People are dying, my friend is dying. I call out again and again but why don’t you answer. Is anyone there?”

The above statement is not a common statement re-posted on Facebook nor re-tweeted in Twitter, but a fragment of the poem written by a former north Korean defector, Ji Hyeon A.

I take this opportunity to ask you for a moment or more to pray for North Korea especially to North Koreans who are imprisoned in their own terrifying country facing human rights’ violations such as forced abortion, forced hard labor, rape, starvation, summary executions and many others–these are conditions that amount to crimes against humanity.

If you’d say, “We have enough crisis on our own countries..so why do we care about theirs?”, don’t you think you’d be happy to hear these same statements from them if we’d swap situations…if we become north Koreans and them become like us….enjoying democracy?

My heart is pained when instead of us, of course including myself, could have think of caring, helping, praying or even pausing to silently or to the least of secretly sympathizing to the destitutes or humanly violated creatures, have gone along with our usual days pitying ourselves on how people care about how we looked like in the outside, on about how quick and frequent we could post on social medias our recent life’s status and even our private lives as if the world care about knowing ’em. When in fact, we can save those wasted time to learn more about other creatures out there that the medias didn’t covered on their news. That there are Christians killed every day in an underground church and prison camps in China, Russia, Pakistan, India, Iraq…while we are not even true to our faith here in our country even though we are enjoying the freedom of worship or religion. That there are hungry and starving out there and we are enjoying here our comfort zones, not even sharing our blessings to the nearest beggar that pull the end of our trousers just to get our attentions. That instead of thanking the cook for a well-presented food on the platter, we never realized what type of food the prisoners are munching, if those are even food for humans or for dogs.

There’s so much to say…but expressing my concern wouldn’t even help solve these problems, but you can make a difference. You can help. You are a warrior, not a worrier. You are whole, healed and delivered.

Last night, I was reading the book of 1 Samuel (from the Bible) about the story of David and Goliath. Although I have read it couple of times, running my eyes through the pages still have an impression of new experience, since every day we face our giants–such as worries, anxities, doubts, fears, losing hope, persecutions, poverty, sickness, unforgiveness, hurts, guilts, self-pity, vanity, setbacks, and many others.

Do you know that WORDS have the POWER over a giant?

READ: 1 Samuel 17:45-47 King James Version (KJV)

45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.

46 This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.

47 And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give you into our hands.”

Believing on the Words, the very words that he uttered, David fought a good fight and won the battle since the battle is not his but the LORD’s.

North Korea has been a threat to us not just to the north Koreans themselves with their mad dictator Kim Jong-un, unsurprisingly unpredictable, but to the neighboring countries in the east Asia and to the rest of the world. Nevertheless, who could stand against the allies of righteous forces that prays day and night with prayers and supplications before our BIG GOD, the creator of the universe and mankind!

To God be the glory!

GREAT PEOPLE IN HELL

My soul was crying by this testimony on heaven and hell. I heard of lots of versions which in some ways have their similarities, but what caught my attention is the mentioning of a particular church, she said, “Jesus warned leaders of the Assembly of God (church) to repent because they are in the secret cult.” Years ago, I dreamed about this church and God told me to get out from that church though I reluctantly did at first, but now hearing this as a confirmation to the dream God showed me about the church (AG) and the Holy Spirit prompting me to get out from that church which I obeyed years ago, does me no peace but concerned. The fact that there are a lot of dead church now, professing that they are of the Lord, but in fact, of Satan’s. Lord, have mercy on us.

Please do watch this testimony anyway and pray that the Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding shall enveloped you against confusion or unbelief.

We, indeed, could no longer live a double life, that at the same time as on Sundays we go to church but also go to bars/ night clubs nor sing worldly songs, watch soap operas, war movies, cartoons and play violent or all forms of video games and addictions and so on on weekends.

“So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.” – Revelation 3:16

The blessing of family

Days ago, one of my 5 month old kitten died. She’s the closest to me, to the point that she sleeps with me during the night and woke we up at dawn so she’ll poop or pee outside the house.

So eventually, when she got sick, 4 days of not eating anything.. I talked to God. I told Him, “Here we go again Lord. The last time you take all my kittens I knew it because they became my idol. They occupy more of my waking time. But this time, are you dealing again with me? Why is that every time I overly loved my pets, they’ll die?” Then I cried and prayed for my cat, I lay hands to her and speak life to her. But I knew it. She’ll die. God put it in my heart. I knew it, so I was able to accept the fact. God is a jealous God, you know. The problem with me was I’m just too occupied with my pet.

Then 2 days ago, I saw my mom by the gate waiting for me. And I knew it. So I asked her, “Is she already dead?” She’s a little reluctant to answer me, because the last time she saw me cried so much is when my pet cat so dear to me died, that was last year, which I also featured here. I knew that my cat died not because it’s unusual for my mom to be awake by the time I arrived home from work, nor because it’s also unusual for her to stay outside late at night waiting for me. I knew my cat died because the Lord put it in my heart, “She’ll die.”
So what more could I do, but to accept the fact. So I bury her, my mom had just cried. She was surprised by my reaction cause I show no single pain in me. There was even joy inside me. I was released even before the day she died, because Jesus conditioned my heart the time I cried to her asking, “not again Lord..” but He’d answer back, “She would die.” So that news was no surprise to me anymore. He had spoken.

Why people grieve….
It’s not wrong to grieve. In fact, it’s biblical to grieve for your dead loved one, and to cry is a medicine to the soul. The thirst washes the pain away.

However, I learned the fact that the reason why people grieve is because they can not accept the reality of the person’s or any creature’s death or lost yet.
…hence, it’s easier on my part because I accepted the fact, God told me beforehand. Can I reason to Him?

Everything is a matter of decision…
You decide to act on something, telling yourself to do this and that. Like last week, one of the speaker in the bible class I attended to shared on how quick she forgave her dad for murdering her mom. It’s because she decided to forgave him, to act on it by faith. If she didn’t put her faith on God that she’d forgive her dad, she couldn’t look at him directly to the eyes nor could have lived with him peacefully in the same roof.

When I asked my cousin how come he changed. He no longer smoke nor drink. He said, “I just decided. It’s a choice.” Folks, everything is a matter of faith. You put your faith to Jesus, that He’d take care of the things you decided on doing, that He’d help you to consistently do it by renewing your mind, because on the first place He’s the first one to want you to do it.

Since this week’s theme is about family and marriage…allow me to share this.
Last night, my mom confessed to me, “Do you know why you did not grieve for your dead cat? It’s because the moment she died, I prayed to God that He’ll take care of your emotions, that He’ll let you accept it easily and not to grieve over it.” Honestly, I was touched by that motherly confession.
Many times my mom saved me from heartbreak by praying to God to take care of me. That’s moms for! That’s our parents. How many of you did not know that many times our parents are praying for us even it seems they didn’t? That’s how we’re blessed to have parents, so let’s continue honoring them.

To God be the glory!

The Bible…

bible

#Wow I learned a lot today!

READ the bible to be WISE..
BELIEVE the bible to be SAFE..
and PRACTICE the bible to be HOLY!

The bible contains light to direct you, food to support you, and comfort to cheer you. The bible is traveler’s map, the pilgrim’s staff, the pilot’s compass, the soldier’s sword and the Christians’ charter.

In the bible, paradise is restored, heaven is opened, and the gates of hell are closed. Christ is its grand subject, our good design, and the glory of God to its end.

The bible should fill the memory, rule the heart, and the guide the feet. Read it slowly, frequently and prayerfully.

Read the bible through,
pray the bible in,
give the bible out,
pass the bible on. — Dr. Fensenfeld

Our thinking controls our actions

Our thoughts become our habits

Our habits become our character

Our character becomes our destiny

Think about what you are thinking about.

Put some standard, be transformed by the renewing of our mind

Is Jesus the Lord of our manners and habits?
