HEART ISSUE: Heart, for whom or which are you?

Our heart is a vacuum. If empty, it’d carry anything alongside to suck in—-FRIENDS, CAREER, FAMILY, COLLEAGUE, ENTERTAINMENT, FAME, etc. With them, it seemed whole. Nevertheless, if one of them is missing like unexpected death in the family, the HEART would feel alone. Yet, the HEART would divert its attention to CAREER, MONEY and FRIENDS. Giving full attention to them is not a good idea when they started to depart and fail the HEART. The latter would be shattered and would say, “I needed to fill in the emptiness.” Like a vacuum-cleaner, it will start to suck in anything.
The first thing it sucked in is CRUSH, FANTASY and LUST. The HEART thought these are its last resort and would give everything to them and would not let them go.
It was satisfied; not even regretful. However, not long after, CRUSH or INFATUATION, FANTASY and LUST invited PRIDE, BOASTFULNESS, SELFISHNESS and GREEDINESS due to much attention they got from the HEART.
In spite of, the HEART seemed still empty. Its happiness was temporary. It’s not lasting. He asked, “What could be missing? What else?” It was never been so frustrated before.
Suddenly, someone whispered to the HEART, “Read the Bible in 1 Corinthians 13: 1-13.” Its attention was caught by verses 4-8 which says, “LOVE is patient, LOVE is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily-angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. LOVE does not delight in evil but rejoices in truth. It always perseveres, LOVE never fails.”
It halted and repeated, “LOVE NEVER FAILS? NO CHANCE OF LOSING?”
The HEART thought it had enough, yet the truth is, it haven’t found LOVE. It got eager to meet LOVE, so it could suck it in and would never let it go.
The HEART heard another whisper, ” 1 John 4:7; 11-18.

7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.

11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

13 This is how we know that we live in Him and He in us: He has given us of His Spirit. 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent His Son to be the Savior of the world. 15 If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. 16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.

God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. 17 This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus.

18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.”

It learned that GOD is LOVE.
The HEART reasoned out, “If GOD is LOVE then my power or ability is not enough to suck Him in, since He is the creator of all things, and I am just a vacuum.
The still small voice whispered back, “If you wanted to suck me in and let me live in you, first, let me remove the clutter that blocks or hinders my entrance.
So, the HEART vomited the clutter which made LOVE easily entered into its system. The HEART was overjoyed. It realized that the HEART is created only for LOVE. Finally, it became whole and brand new.

READ: 1 John 2:15-17, “Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the LOVE of the FATHER is not in him. For anything in the world—–the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does—–comes not from the Father, but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God live forever.”

To God be the glory!
