I can walk on the water, too

I woke up from a dream today, 21nd of February 2016.

In my dream, I was inside a van. The driver is a white man, tall and has a huge built. From the highway, the vehicle suddenly turned left and changed direction across the rice fields and passing through the rivers; another rice field towards an irrigation…the driver keeps on driving and turning neither to the left nor to the right. He only follow through the straight path, until I could see a large body of water…it’s a sea! I panicked. “Hey, driver, will you please stop the car! stop driving, can’t you see we’re heading towards the sea!” He did not pay attention until the wheels could touch the water and I was thinking of us drowning. But the driver was so confident about what he’s doing. He’s in total control of the steering wheel.
Next, we could literally felt the wheels running smoothly on the surface of the water and though we knew that we’re getting far, going towards the middle of the ocean, still we didn’t sink just like how Jesus walks on the water. Then there’s a voice telling me that the driver is God.

The water indeed was so calm. We passed through solid; dry; wet; solid again; dump; wet; and muddy road until we reached the water’s surface but still our ride is not bumpy but consistently straight without interruptions.
HOW MANY TIMES, LIKE PETER, HAVE WE BEEN LIKE THIS DOUBTING GOD’S CONTROL OVER OUR LIVES AND CIRCUMSTANCES?

READ: Jesus walks on the water (Matthew 14: 25-32)

Lord Jesus, We’ve been so faithless though you remains faithful. How many times have we worried about our daily living, our present circumstances and not even willing to move on from the past? Forgive us, Lord. Forgive us for being so self-centered, unforgiving, boastful and proud, lovers of pleasure and ungrateful. Help us to listen to your voice, to grasp your hand, never letting you go as you are not giving up on us.

To God be the glory!
Happy Sunday everyone 🙂
