Dawn of October 8, 2015, I woke up from a dream.
I travelled back in time, in South Korea in the 50s. There was a Korean woman who’s having a daughter living in countryside. Two ladies came out running away from their house secretly. They seemed escaping. The Korean woman detained them believing they are two blessings. As I understood and see, the two ladies are angels of God.
Those young ladies were wearing head cover from the sun and that Korean woman also wore her own head cover.
Her front yard has tall and huge bamboo trees. It gave way to her as their master. Seven of them cut themselves, went down in humility and lay on the ground to be her bed. She lay down on that bamboo poles and automatically she was tied to them. Next, she was flown high as if the bamboo poles were balloon carrying her above the clouds. The sky is so wide and high. It could be frightening but she never minds it as long as she could take back her blessings. She said, “I commit to my destiny, to the Lord wherever I will be carried away by the wind and these bamboo poles to find them (two ladies/ blessings).”
She was now above the clouds, so high floating, or flying in the sky. I was frightened and worried for her, so I interceded. “I prayed she’ll land on the water, it’s safer than land.”
She indeed landed on the water but in the middle of the ocean. Good thing there was no waves but so calm and clear as crystal water received her. The bamboo poles untied her and set her free. She automatically swum in the sea and was filled with lights all over her body. She looked like a tiny fish swimming under water.
Suddenly large shark appeared and noticed her. It was attracted to her light. It was chasing her, wanted to eat her but she was so quick to swim and avoided. The shark transformed as giant black bear. It chased her with its claws, wanting to devour her. She was able to avoid it. Then another beast came, a giant chipmunk. She has two predators but she was able to avoid them.
I continued interceding for her. “I prayed that a seawall would appear so that she can be saved.” A seawall indeed appeared and she climbed up. She went back to her home and found that the whole neighborhood was looking for her, was so worried of her. A man yelled at her, “What kind of a mother are you, you just left your daughter behind! You deserve to be punished!” He grabbed a metal shovel and was about to hit her with that. The daughter was alarmed and stood in the middle and shouted to the man, “Don’t act like that, you don’t have the right to say that because you’re the one who’s unworthy…drunkard!” and that young lady became me.
Still in Korea. I was a member of musicians in the church. I was a trumpeter. When called by number, we aligned ourselves like in a military platoon and blew our trumpets. I’m the last in line.
POINTS TO PONDER:
- Tree symbolizes the cross of Jesus.
- When Jacob wrestled with God, he did not stop until he got his blessing from Him.
Do Not Worry (Luke 12:22-34)
22 Then Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. 23 For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. 24 Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! 25 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life[j]? 26 Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?
27 “Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 28 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you—you of little faith! 29 And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. 30 For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. 31 But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.
32 “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. 33 Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will never fail, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. 34 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
The Cost of Following Jesus (Luke 9:57- 62)
57 As they were walking along the road, a man said to him, “I will follow you wherever you go.”
But he replied, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”
The Cost of Being a Disciple (Luke 14:25-33)
25 Large crowds were traveling with Jesus, and turning to them he said: 26 “If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even their own life—such a person cannot be my disciple. 27 And whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.
28 “Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it? 29 For if you lay the foundation and are not able to finish it, everyone who sees it will ridicule you, 30 saying, ‘This person began to build and wasn’t able to finish.’
31 “Or suppose a king is about to go to war against another king. Won’t he first sit down and consider whether he is able with ten thousand men to oppose the one coming against him with twenty thousand? 32 If he is not able, he will send a delegation while the other is still a long way off and will ask for terms of peace. 33 In the same way, those of you who do not give up everything you have cannot be my disciples.
To God be the glory!
